.....................

Congrats. This server is sooooo slow. Bandit may not be able to post. I'm wondering Bandit, do they now y'all were from Texas or did you use one of those out of state mail centers to disguise it? LOL. Texas to Harvard. Didn't our Texas buddy Tommy Lee Jones from San Saba do that, too? I bet they're out painting the town crimson.

D actually lives in Jackson Hole, WY with her mother. After Harvard came in, Yale, Columbia, and Brown followed. She has some tough decisions now.

Bandit,

I congratulated Lindsey when she officially posted on the Dartmouth board earlier today. I asked her what could I say that hasn't been said already, because more good news was coming her way.

Congrats to you, her and the rest of your family on all of the acceptances. You must be extremely proud, she has pretty much swept the application process. Now it's time for decsions, decisions. Suffice it to say that she will do well wherever she goes

Very proud. She ran the entire process by herself. She had no outside coaches. Noone edited her essays. I haven't even read her apps. She started her program freshman year and stayed the course she designed.

Awesome acceptances. Congrats. I can see a very busy month of April deciding among great schools. But it will be fun.

Ya think she'll come back and adivise the class of 2010? She certainly knows what it takes:)

Just from reading her post she seems like a wonderful young woman who deserves all of the blessings that has be bestowed upon her . (My heart is full and I am doing that happy dance with you)

Oh my WOWZA!!!!!!!

Is this lindseylujh we're talking about? If so, I have conversed with her on the Yale board, and she is about the finest young lady around! Many HUGE congrats to a wonderful gal with so much on the ball!!!!

~berurah

That's my baby. It's going to be hard to turn down all the merit money that Rice, Smith, and Holyoke are throwing around. She still wants to look at Swat, and Princeton and Amherst are still not in. But, I think it will come down to Harvard and Yale now.

I want to thank everyone that has befriended us on this board. Some of you have been surrogate parents to her when she was depressed over EA. I also want to thank the board owners and mods. This site has been our mentor in the process. It is a safe environment for the kids and the parents.

bandit, these are some awesome schools. You must be soooooo proud.

All I can say is... Pick Brown ;)
I am consistent!

Wow, Bandit_TX, you have one amazing daughter. Congrats!!!

Congratulations!

congrates!

To get accepted in so many places, she must be amazaing. Good luck to her :).

Had Yale not deferred her EA, she wouldn't have applied to so many. That really hurt her confidence, and she added several schools, the shotgun approach....

Wowie zowie! Lindsey has so much celebrating to do, bandit. You must be so very proud of her! Hope you will let us know the ultimate outcome!
Whew! Harvard AND Yale AND Brown, AND Columbia! And Swat and Rice, and more news on its way. Fabulous! Go shotgun approach!
