Bangladeshi Students/Financial Aid + Scholarships.

Here's a question, how do most/average Bangladeshi students who come to US for undergraduate studies pay for tuition?
Where do you apply to get financial aid/scholarships?
Does the university give any?

Someone generously pointed out the following information on another thread I have:

She might like to visit the international forum for some ideas, but it would be much better for her to contact the advising center of EducationUSA http://educationusa.state.gov/undergrad.htm that is closest to where she lives. The counselors there have experience with students just like her, and can help her figure things out.

But how much is available for a student who has excellent academic results, and wants to study engineering? (I'm talking about another relative, dont know much about his stats)

no one has any idea?

International engineering students almost always bears all their expenses. if u want financial aid then apply to Liberal Arts Colleges. most of the top LACs will meet your full need if accepted. So thats ur best bet.

That’s a very vague question.

I don’t know about LAC. But, people from my country (Pak) got sufficient aids. If your records are exemplary, you have shot at full scholarships too. And yes, the substantial amount comes from the university itself.
