i’m from chicago, IL. i visited barnard during last year’s spring break and fell in love. getting accepted would be amazing, but i’m not super optimistic. i know that they value GPA a lot and mine is relatively bad. i hope all of us get in… i hate reading threads from past years and seeing that they rejected some awesome posters. ik everything will be fine in the end but still

I’m from Vermont, and Barnard is my top choice too! I’m so worried because my ECs aren’t that great, but hopefully the college admission gods smile down upon us. I wish we could just skip to the fourth week of March already!
Barnard is my top choice! I did their summer program this year and really loved everything about the school. On my portal, I have a slot for the final high school transcript as well but I can’t remember if it’s always been there. Though I want it to be an indicator of acceptance, I can’t imagine admissions doing something so obvious before they officially release decision.

I have a 3.24 UW and a 3.56 W but hopefully they see past our numbers and how much we can bring to Barnard!
@triantafilla i submitted a few short stories

I was looking over my app, and I just saw the tens of thousands of documents part. Uhm, last year the received over 5,600 applications. Does this mean they have doubled? Im actually really scared
@ArmyofOne I doubt that’s the case. Each applicant has to submit a lot of documents (SATs, transcripts, essays etc) so 6k applicants could easily generate 20k or more docs to file.

I had the same problem you should email your admissions director and tell her your situation. They gave me an extension and i just sent in my parents taxes yesterday. @rachaell
