Barnard & Columbia Alumni Association

Sorry, that is NOT what the WRITTEN BYLAWS say. Any student who has been enrolled for at least one year in a degree program at Columbia UNIVERSITY (any school) is eligible for membership.

Sorry but your daughter is still not eligible for membership of Columbia Alumni Association.

Collegeboy, I am not an idiot. I sent an email to the Columbia Alumni Association and asked their policy. They wrote back.

Guess what they said?

“We certainly welcome Barnard graduates.”

They also confirmed that my daughter was eligible to apply for any of the insurance programs listed at [Columbia Connection - The site for all alumni of Columbia University](http://alumni.columbia.edu/access/s2_3.html)

Now who am we going to believe? Some anonymous ■■■■■ on the internet, or the person with the name, job title, and the columbia.edu email address?

You are wasting people’s time. You clearly have lied about your own contacts with the Alumni Association, and your lies can easily be disproved by anyone willing to make a simple inquiry.

[To anyone other than collegeboy reading this who doubts me or who simply wants written verification along with the name of the staff person who provided it – send a PM and I’ll send you a copy of the email. I am not going to post the information or share the name collegeboy because I believe that would create a likelihood of harassment for the Alumni Association staffer who responded to my email.]
