Hey everyone! I am transferring to Barnard this fall and will be a sophomore.
I was just filling out the housing app, and it asks you to rank your dorm preferences. Is anyone else unsure of which ones are the best to select? Where are other transfers selecting as their top choices?
Congrats for all who got off waitlist! ! Does anyone know whether our grades at previous school will be transferred
as well as credits?
@Dreamlessnewmember for transfer students, grades at previous school will be taken into consideration when calculating GPA for College Honors.

@nati30 advantage of Sulzberger Tower and Elliott is central A/C, and being close to classes and facilities.
Plimpton is two long blocks away, but doable, while Cathedral Gardens might as well be on a different continent.
110th Street is a reasonably long walk - but has no A/C, so why bother?
116th Street has no A/C either, but at least it is very conveniently located (literally across the street from classes and facilities at both Barnard and Columbia).

hey hey! so far (from what I know) only me and another junior haven’t gotten housing, and most of the people looking for off campus housing right now are class of '22.

@kme163 yeah for sure! Another way to get to the groupme groups is through the official transfer facebook group, it has links to the different chats in it!
