I am transferring to ASU this Fall as a sophomore Engineering Major from a Texas-CC. Because I am out of the only 2 opportunity windows to transfer to Barrett, I have to wait until the second semester of my sophomore year to apply. I am leaving the military this summer, and I have a 3.8 gpa which puts me just above the average of those admitted to UT-Austin, a top 10 engineering program, but I am opting for ASU because of proximity to family, and my GF who is in Nursing school in Arizona. I guess I am hoping that Barrett will sort of put me ahead academically in a similar way that UT would. Can anyone share what they know of the experience transfers have at Barrett over the non-Barrett transfers at ASU?
