Hey all! Sorry if my post is like thousands out there, but I’d love some opinions about what my chances of getting into Barrett are. I’m a transfer student coming from a CC. I’ve never done this before so sorry if I’m a bit sloppy.
-3.8 GPA (I’m pretty sure I’ll be graduating with a 3.9 once I’m done with this semester though)
-SAT: 1700 / Composite:1080 / Math:460 / Verbal: 620 (Old SAT)
-Honors Program Student during my entire time at my CC
-President of the Literature Club this semester and secretary for two semesters before that
-Won two scholarships at my CC (don’t know if that helps)
I never did the ACT and I know my SAT scores are not impressive, but I moved to the USA from Mexico on my last semester of high school so that’s why How will that affect me? Do I even have a chance?
I think you have a good chance. Try to write a solid essay.
Thanks for the reply! I was accepted I spent a lot of time on my essay and had it checked by my English professor, who said it was great, so I definitely believe that helped me get in. I also know my letters of recommendation were good.
