Hi all! I am currently a sophomore in high school. I have a quick question about the Barron SAT/PSAT prep books:

Are the practice tests and problems in these books a lot harder than the questions on the actual tests? I'm sure that this question has been asked a lot but I was just curious. If they are more difficult, how so?

It seems to me that most of the math and reading sections on the Barron’s PSAT prep are mediocre difficulty-wise, although I have taken a few practice tests from the Blue Book and would say that if those are good indicators of the real SAT, then the Barron’s practice tests are not. Speaking of which, I find the grammar section of the Barron’s book challenging for some reason. A lot of questions that I’m getting wrong still don’t make sense even after I have read the explanations. Is anybody else facing this same problem? And also I am new to College Confidential so I’m not sure how to start a new thread. This is sort of relevant to Barron’s but where’s the “new thread”?

Some are harder, some are easier.
