Barron's 3500words...

i was wondering if any of you or anyone you know mastered Barrons 3500 word list and scored less then 700 in CR....
or better put this way>>>
how much did you or your fellas score knowing Barrons 3500....

I was wondering the same thing. I hope I'm not wasting my time memorizing them..

i memorized it. pretty stupefying, but hey, i knew 90% of the vocab. CR score on Nov 2. remind me.

Remind me too. I memorized them... however I know I missed 2 level easy questions because I read TOO much into the question >.>.

I only used SparkNotes' 1,000 Most Common SAT Words and I knew all the SCs on the Oct test

sparknotes 250 words list, most of them were on the Oct test. ( i didnt memorize them though, just looked at them and saw that most of the words were on it. wish i knew to study it before)...

Where can I get the Barron's 3500 words or the sparknotes 250 words?

Ilovesoftball44- here are the 250: http://www.sparknotes.com/testprep/books/newsat/chapter15section4.rhtml

Anybody got the link to Barron's 3500?

just borrow it from your library. hey, gruber's has a 3400 word list as well. you should do both of them and like make flash cards of all the words you don't know.

i only used barron's and it didn't have the word "stopgap" on it like the psats.

well i guess you can't just choose any one list. you'll probably need to use lots and lots of vocab lists if you don't want to be surprised by that final sentence completion
