Barron's 36 or Princeton Review's Cracking the ACT?

Sorry, i made another thread like this in the ACT forum but it has only gotten like 2 responses, both of which are not helpful at all. I just want to know which book is more effective at improving one's score. I already have the official Red Book but need something to supplement it. I want to primarily focus on my English and Math, but also would like to improve my reading and science considerably as well.

Thanks.

I’ve heard that the Princeton Review book is more effective.

I borrowed the PR book from the library. It wasn’t all that great. There were decent tips in the there, but I don’t think it’s worth that $30.

I haven’t tried Barron’s 36, so I can’t really help w/ it.

I’d say neither. Grubers has a good book out, look into that.

ha, ive heard that Barrons 36 is the best book out there.
