Barron's Bio 2007

How is Barron's latest SAT Biology book? I have their popular older version, and I'm wondering how the new one compares. I've heard it's "a lot" better than the older version from some people at school, but I need more opinions. Is it worth buying the new edition?

I'm taking the subject tests in June.

Well, I'm taking the Bio one in June too and I have the new Barron's version. It covers a lot of material my teacher didn't even in mention in class and it wasn't in our curriculum book, so I'm overloading myself with reading. I'm actually also kinda wondering how the Barron's versions are because everyone mentions the Princeton Review and Kaplan.

Well by class if you mean the AP class, I THINK there are some things on the AP tests that are not in SAT, and vice-versa.

I've heard that if you want an 800 you should use barron's...

Actually I mean regular Bio (freshman bio). Is that bad?

No that isn't that bad, it just makes more sense as to why some thigns wouldnt be covered.

i'm using the 2007 Barrons right now, and it's really good....doesn't seem lengthy at all. I haven't seen the original though, so I wouldnt know how it compares.

I'm using the old version...published in 1998...is that too old?

Yeah I'm using the old version too. I'd also like to know if it is too old.

tooo old.....

Well I ordered the new 2007 edition from Amazon and it'll come in a few days. Hopefully I wont be let down. :)
