My friend is taking IIC this week and he is using my Barron's book. He made a 27 raw score on his diagnostic. I know that Barron's is much harder than the real one, so how much higher should it go if he were to not study? 5 points? 10?

I took the Barron diagnostic last night at like 11 and got a 28 raw score. That thing is tough as a mother. Hopefully, my tiredness and the hardness of Barron's means I didn't really get a 660. I guess look at it this way- whatever he gets on Barron's, he is bound to beat on the real one.

I never really looked at Barron's, but it seems like those are the 25 hard questions on IIC and the IC makes up for the rest, so you should be in good shape, too. G'luck

I dont know if its possible to convert. People who will do well and people who will do ok are more likely to score in the same range than on a regular test sooo converting doesnt really work. Just take a more accurate test.

With Barron's, I was getting in the 32-36 rangle, and on the actual test, I got 800. Barron's really helped me though; the only problem I had with the test was timing (I got really rushed at the end). Anyway, good luck to your friend!
