Hey,

I don't know if it's just me, but the Barrons Math II practice papers are hard! Perhaps if I had enough time I could get 800, but I'm barely completing 40 out of the 50 questions. This is coming from someone who takes Math Higher at IB, which is already fairly constrained in terms of time.

If I'm getting around 700 in the Barrons papers, do you have any idea what I can expect from the actual test tomorrow?

The thing with the Barrons test that made it difficult was that all of the questions required a fair deal of working out before reaching an answer. First you had to think about how you'd get an answer quickly, then you had to do all this lengthy working. The result was that I couldn't finish in time. I'm really worried that this might happen in the real thing, especially when I'm aiming for 800...

I am in the EXACT same situation. IB HL math too!
I’m also a little worried because I just reviewed all the precalc material this week, and realized I forgot alot…

Barron’s is very very much more difficult than the real test.

You don’t need to know a lot of the stuff in Barron’s.

Check out the questions that collegeboard provides online. The test will probably be easier than either of you expect.

Definitely agree with stix2400. I took the Math II today and it was no way as hard as the Barrons tests. The Sparknotes tests are much better, though they may be a bit easier than the real test.

i agree with ya. i took math2 today as well and found it extremly esay… lol … Barron is ‘abnormal’. lol

I’m right there with you guys. I’m a solid math student and i just took a Barron’s II test and only scored a 640. It wasn’t so much that it was hard but it took forever. And there were some things i just didn’t understand lol
