I was hoping we could start a thread for people taking Math IIC so that we could help each other on questions we didn't understand.

Using the Barron's How to Prepare for the SAT II Math Level IIC 7th Edition.

Ill start.

On page 28, is section 1.3, can anyone explain why the answer to question 2 is f-inverse (x) = x.

Also, on the same page, how did you find the answer to question 4? I tried to find the equation of the line first and then substitue x=y, but my answer didn't match. I wasn't sure if the graph had a typo because it shows one of the points as (0, -1), but when I tried the same method using (0, 1) i got the same answer as barron's. Any ideas?

Anyone please feel free to add. But try to answer any previous questions first before adding on new ones.

Thanks. This will be great review for all Math IIC testtakers.
