I'm currently using Barrons as SAT prep for myself. So far, I like the book. I'm upto the sentence errors section. They have about 15 pages of stuff simply about sentences and their structure. Quite honestly, I really hate that kind of stuff, is it important to read it or can I just skip over it and do problems and read their solutions?

No, read it if you hate it.

The writing part of my SAT really suffered because of that one stupid section.

It won’t happen next time, since I am in the process of reviewing sentence structure. :)
