Barron's SAT Chemistry...what is my score?

So I took the first Barron's chem test in the ninth edition book, and I got 65/85 with a raw score of 60 and 12 over the time limit ;(

Let us ignore the extra time I got. What would my scaled score be? I checked SparkNotes, and they said for a 80 question test a 60 raw score would get me 670. However, this Barron's test has 85 questions. Does that mean that after I convert my score from the 85 question test to a 80 question test I would have a raw score of 55 (640)? Or is there some other more complicated way of doing this?

Would anyone caret o predict what my score will be on the actual CB chem subject test?

nvm I just check an official CB chm subject test, which had 85 questions, and a 60 raw score converts to a scaled score of 690. So what does every1 think my score on the real test will be?

k the book made a few errors; I actually got a raw score of 63, which constitutes a 710 raw score…also this is out of the 6th edition book (not the 9th edition I mentioned earlier).

So I would still like to know what CC ppl think I might get on the actually test.

I got the Barrons book too, I haven’t looked at it yet and hope to next week. =)

Anyway, from experience with the Math book, if you can get a 700+ under the 60 min time limit, you should get an 800 or a really high 700 on the real test.

o kewl…the only thing is I had about 10 questions left when I ran out of time.

Barron’s chemistry book is not as exaggerated in difficulty as the math book.

You’ll probably score about 50 pts higher on the real test.
