Barrons Sat

Is Barrons How To Prepare for the SAT a good book overall? I usually read comments about the 2400 book but what about this one?

I would say that it is an OK book, but not the best. The 2400 covers everything and is great for students who want to score in the 700s in each section.

I would recommend (hope this doesnt get me censured from CC) either the PR book, if you want a single book preparation. You could also go with The Blue Book for tests, and then the PR or Grubers book for strategies.

Also, I believe that floating around here is a couple of threads that explain how to get the CollegeBoard online course for free. There is also a thread that contains the consolidated list of the best prep books.

Finally, I would love to refer you to a site that reviews prep books, but CC will not let me. So you could PM me, or maybe someone else will find some sort of surreptious (first letters only) way to Convey Exactly Ecstatic And Esite.

mr soccer - all the information you need is already in the archives of this forum. Just search and you'll find time and time again what you're looking for,

Chris_C seems to have told you everything I was intendidng to say.

Alright guys thanks alot for the info, definitely cleared things up. And Chris I found the site lol, thx for the message.
