<p>Hello everyone. Im going to buy the book tommorow, so please answer ASAP. What is the best book for SATs? I have never taken the SATs before. I'm going to buy the Blue Blook, but what other books do you recommend, especially for the critical reading section, cause i need better vocabulary. thanks everybody for reading and answering.</p>

<p>I assume you're home from buying it by now, but in case you're going later today, Barrons 2400 is for more advanced prep. This is for people who can score decently already and want that extra push up towards very high scores.</p>

<p>Yep. If you're an SAT newbie, get the standard barron's prep book and college board blue book. Once you know the ropes and can break 1800 on practice tests, get one of the 2400 books to help give your score the extra "oomph".</p>

<p>Princeton Review's reading sections were a lot harder than that on the PSATs, if that's worth anything.</p>

<p>well, my friend lended my Up Your Score: Underground Guide to the SATs, so i only bought the blue book. Hopefully the Up your Score is a good book. thanks for all of your opinions, and thanks Chris_C for your great site.</p>

<p>Actually, McGraw Hill's CR is just stupid and pointless, despite being to easy. It won't teach you anything. Barron's will get your math score amazing if you try and I recommend that.</p>
