I was just wondering, if I got a 690 or 700 on one of the Barron's practice tests (from the Critical Reading Workbook), what is an approximate guess on what I would get on the real test?

720-740ish

How about a 740 on a Princeton Review test?

730 (10 chars)

around 730-750

Thanks. How about 740 on a Kaplan test?

730ish....

^ Really?? I thought Kaplan was easier than that. I got a 770 on a Kaplan test... what do you think that would be?

Hint: doing these other brand's tests will not give you a very good indication about how you'd score on the actual thing, so trying to get score conversions is useless. For example, Kaplan's tests are not just easier -- they test different types of questions that require different types of logic than what CB uses. It's like apples and oranges in a sense.

how did you convert the score?

my barron's CR workbook only says excellent to very good; no raw score conversions.

In critical reading, i usually was in the middle of good and very good and scored a 770 (sorry about just saying this now). Math, i usually missed one maybe two and got an 800 on the SAT. Writing i did worse than before but all in all i went way up

If you want to have a better idea of your score, I know College Board used to publish this book called 10 Real SATs - they are real SATs, and what you score on that is approximately what you'd get on your SATs.

my scores were how i did on the real SAT. i was just posting the results and answering my own question lol
