Baseball Tournament in Omaha

I heard there is a big Baseball tournament coming up in June. A teacher of mine told me about this. He said it's really crazy. Is this true?

Yes, the College World Series is held every year in Omaha. It's been held in Omaha for over 50 years (my dad who grew up in South O has told me many stories about riding his bike from my grandmother's house to Rosenblatt back in the day and getting in for a quarter).

I've already got GA tickets for the games and my little brother (going to be an UNL frosh in the fall) is making plans to come up for games. If the Huskers (ranked #3 in the country right now), make the CWS again the entire state will be nuts. Last year NU played in the late game on the second day of the CWS, and people were camping out for three days prior. Luckily for me, one of the major bars for the CWS is withing walking distance (4 blocks) so even if I can't make the games I can have an awesome time at Pauli's.

The CWS is a great time, and it's also very inexpensive theres all kinds of activities going on around rosenblatt stadium and people come from all over to watch college baseball. I'm a senior in high school in Omaha but I'm going to Arizona State next year ( I'm still a die hard husker fan). Hopefully ASU can make it back to Omaha this year so the Huskers can take out a little revenge for last years loss.

Go to whatever games you can get into, and step next door to the RainForest or Henry Doorly Zoo. And there's another new attraction there also, I believe.
