Basketball player looking to transfer

I fixed the typo.

Hi, I just finished my freshman season and I was looking to transfers from one NAIA to another NAIA. I have already asked for a release but my coach won’t do it till after the break. I am looking to start emailing and calling coaches. I did not play very much, I avg 7.8 minutes a game and 1.3 points. And on top of that a lot of players and the assistant coach have been saying those stats are wrong on there. So how would I “sell” myself to a coach? What should I say through email or over the phone?

The first question is did you have any other coaches interested in you from high school who you could contact. Also remember that coaches move around so possibly a head coach or assistant that recruited you in high school may now be at another school. The issue is that it is late and most spots may already be taken. Are NAIA transfer rules like NCAA where you will need to sit out a year?
