That’s great, Doc! I hope everything, particularly your concerns regarding fit, came together for you. Fit should be good, but perfect is often an idealized image. You will make your fit as much as Colgate will.
I didn’t comment on name recognition while you were deciding because it requires such a guess as to what others think; I think Colgate, along with Vassar and a couple of others, has close to the best in its category. I don’t think it’s a good idea to be too concerned about this, but as a bonus, you’ve got it.
And here’s some right-off-the-press news: Colgate men’s lacrosse won the Patriot League title with an 11-8 win over Army West Point and Navy’s stadium today. There is nothing like Division 1 college sports at this level, played as it is by this league’s teams!
