i got accepted to these schools but am wondering which is best for my major-Political Science
University of Pittsburgh (out of state)
Skidmore
Dickinson
Bates

At Bates you will need to do a senior thesis. That’s a deal breaker for some kids. Paying out of state fees at Pitt is still cheaper than the other schools, I believe, unless you receive aid from them. If Pitt is the cheapest, I would recommend that with no hesitation. Have you visited the schools?

If money isn’t an issue, I’d pick Dickinson. If money is a factor, I’d consider the costs.

I will be visiting Pitt very soon and will receive financial aid info soon as well. Out of Dickinson, Skidmore, and Bates, after aid and scholarships they are all pretty close financially. Dickinson is a little over $1000 cheaper than Skidmore. Bates is a little more expensive, but closer to home. I have heard that Pitt’s grad is ranked pretty well for political science. Does the same go for undergrad? I just want to know which is best for political science. Thanks.

Out of the 3 LACs which would be best for political science if I took out the cost factor since they are all similar?
Bates
Dickinson
Skidmore
