Hey, just saw on www.NescacNation.com that Bates lost their athletic director to Amherst. Any news on a replacement?

From a release on the Bates website:
Bates Associate Director of Athletics Dana Mulholland will serve as interim athletic director while a national search is conducted for Coffey's replacement.

From the swim team's web page:
Dana Mulholland
A two-time New England Women's Division III Coach of the Year, Dana Mulholland has served as president and vice president of the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association and is active on regional and national committees. Before coming to Bates in 1988, he enjoyed a long tenure as a high school and age-group coach.
"Besides the skills and strategies of swimming and diving, members of the swim team at Bates gain an appreciation for the importance of time management, the rewards of friendship and trust, self-discipline, leadership skills, independence, teamwork and humility," Mulholland says

I like how urgent this thread sounds. I don't have any updates for ya, sorry.

no clue -- i gotta say, though, i wasn't overwhelmed by the job that Coffey was doing...
