Personally, I think it is right up there with the first Batman. I had my doubts about Chrisitan Bale, but he proved me wrong (although the raspy voice was a bit unconvincing). He was not a pretty boy like George Clooney or Val Kilmer; his glare was scathing at times. It had nice special effects and a pretty good plot line. I liked it better than the recent Spiderman movies.

I'm not really into comic book movies (Batman, the Hulk, X-men, Spiderman, etc) but I watched it and I liked it. I was a little confused at the beginning because of the switching back and forth in time (and I had to keep leaving for work), but as it got further into the movie, the more that I liked it.

I loved it...but then again, I'm biased because I'm a big Batman fan to begin with. I thought it was better than the past four Burton/Schumacher movies; I liked the realism of this one better, and I appreciated the fact that it wasn't wacky (ahem Jim Carrey's Riddler...) and went in-depth into setting up Batman's character. If only they could've reused the Danny Elfman soundtrack...
