We visited Baylor for Premier day and my daughter loved it. Without need-based aid, how much can a student reasonably expect to get in merit aid if their stats are in the top 25% of Baylor’s published stats but not ivy league caliber. (4.1 weighted, 3.7 unweighted, top ten public school in TX, 1400SAT) 60K is just too much but its hard to figure how much it would actually cost??

Have you run this calculator?
Their merit scholarships are very good. Not many good private schools are this generous with merit. Apply for financial aid and outside scholarships as well.

mambotaxi, it seems like you are in a similar position to us - no need-based aid and similar SAT scores. Our merit-based scholarships covered ~1/3 of the cost of tuition, housing, fee, etc. leaving us with ~$40K to try to cover.
