Baylor U vs. Villanova U. vs Emory Col. vs Northeastern

I am currently deciding among the colleges mentioned in the title. I plan to major in biology/chemistry or biochemistry with a Pre-med track.

If anyone, enrolled students or otherwise, could answer some questions for me and give your honest opinions, biased or not, it would be greatly appreciated.

  1. How rigorous are Pre-Med programs, and which is the most rigorous? (I don't mind hard work but if I'm being totally honest, I don't want to have to spend most, if not all, of my free time studying)
  2. Do the professors, and by extension, the curriculum prepare you well for the MCAT and entrance to medical school?
  3. Are a lot of resources available to prepare for the MCAT?
  4. What is the average GPA for Pre-Med Students and is it difficult to maintain a high GPA (>3.8)?
  5. This might be similar to question 1, but, how is the grading for premed courses? Bell curved? Inflated? Deflated? And are students often stressed out due to huge workloads?

And the final question is, what would you recommend? Each college offers roughly the same fin. aid package, so it’s a question of which college is the right fit, in terms of student life. Thank you in advance for answering my questions!
