Villanova University

Night everyone, just had questions regarding Villanova’s campus life as it relates to a pre-med track.

  1. How rigorous is the Pre-Med program (I don't mind hard work but if I'm being totally honest, I don't want to have to spend most, if not all, of my free time studying)
  2. Do the professors, and by extension, the curriculum prepare you well for the MCAT and entrance to medical school?
  3. Are a lot of resources available to prepare for the MCAT?
  4. What is the average GPA for Pre-Med Students and is it difficult to maintain a high GPA (>3.8)?
  5. This might be similar to question 1, but, how is the grading for premed courses? Bell curved? Inflated? Deflated? And are students often stressed out due to huge workloads?
  6. And finally, what's the atmosphere, and by extension, the city like?
