I'm planning to use BB for my SAT preparation, however my public library only has the 1st edition. I'm wondering if that's good enough to work on. I really don't want to waste money and buy the 2nd edition if the 1st one is good enough.

Thanks.

BUy bb 2 instead–it’s worth it dude.

why is it good? i heard that people recommend it because of the practice tests directly from CB…

BB 1 is good enough

thrill3rnit3—just curious. I saw in another post that you posted SAT scores (particularly a 2400) in a link. I assumed you took the SAT’s already or were those scores somebody else’s?

I wish those were my scores lol

I suggest that you buy the second version. It has all of the first version’s tests in it in addition to a couple of new ones.

bb1 is good enough, but bb2 is slightly better. plus, the money you spend on a book that prepares you (well) for a pretty much life-changing test is insignificant.

^It is worth the $14 or whatever it is on Amazon, the new additional tests (#1-#3) are actual SATs which are the gold of SAT test prep.

BB #2 is much better with the addition of 3 actual SATs. The old BB came out before the first March 05 new SAT. The 7 other tests in BB #2 (carried over from BB #1) are not actual new SATs but are still better than other practice tests made up by test prep companies.
