BB Writing question

<p>The answer is C. Is this an idiom error? if so, what should it be?</p>

<p>And also, in these kinds of writing problems on the SAT, are there ever errors where the wrong word is used (definition-wise)? I've seen it in other practice books, but not the blue book.</p>

<p>Is the underlined phrase for C inconsistent to? If so, then I believe it's supposed to be inconsistent with.</p>
