SAT Writing Question Help Please?

When levels of humidity along the assembly line fluctuate, the quality of computers being manufactured is not consistent to requirements. No error

Underlined Portions/Choices:

A=fluctuate
B=being manufactured
C=is
D=not
E=No error (of course)

The Collegeboard said the error is at choice D, but I didn't catch it. What is wrong with D? I think its supposed to say ''consistent with'', but I am not sure. Thanks.

Your post is missing the underlines. In any case, something is “consistent with”, and not “consistent to”.

Lol…so at least you agree with me…but did you read the second half of my post? I specifically stated

''Underlined Portions/Choices:

A=fluctuate
B=being manufactured
C=is
D=not
E=No error (of course)‘’
