Anyone visiting for BC honors day? Do you think its worth going sooner than later? This is not my top choice school, but if I don’t get in to my #1 i’d probably end up having to visit later anyways, which would be april or may. Is there an advantage to going to this set out day? Is is a good way to learn about the school?

I’m wondering too. It’s pretty high on my list, like #2 or 3, but I have to see for financial aid first I guess.

I’m from Seattle so it’d be pretty far too.

I am attending honors day, but I also only live thirty minutes away from the college. Depending on where you live I think you should definitely attend. From what I have heard the honors kids remain a closeknit group throughout their four years. It could be beneficial to see the type of kids who you will be spending your class time with over your four years at BC.

I’m going to be attending. I’ve already visited the campus but I believe that the full day at the campus will just give me a better feel for the school and campus life. I did visit the first time with my dad so this time I wanted to see what my mom thinks. I do also want to meet some of my possible future classmates. BC is about #3 on my list. Definitely a good possibility I will be there in the fall.

Brit-it looks like we have the same #1 (…I always see your name on the UVa posts)! But, I am planning on attending the BC Honors day. I live relatively close (2 hours away). I heard that it is an informative day and worth the trip! Visits are the only way I am going to be able to make my decision! But, as everyone says it definitely depends on how far away you live. In April, you will probably want to visit the RD schools you are accepted too (good luck on your number 1!!!), so if you are at all interested in BC, I would go to the Honors Day. See everyone February 5th!

haha hello waitingfornews! thats funny…yea i sorta stalk that forum. hopefully we’ll end up at the same school next year! good luck!
