I am interested in business, probably applying to Rutgers, TCNJ Northeastern, NYU, BC Lehigh, any other suggestions within my range? studying for SATs hoping for a 2200 but :/ what about rutgers honors? and PSU?

Thanks guys! Will chance if you want me to :)

Sorry for the informal post but I was being rushed off of the computer. :P

You’re fine for TCNJ, Northeastern, PSU (not honors). The others will be tougher.

i mostly agree with dblazer.

your SAT is just about on par for NYU - but Stern Business is tough to get into.

Honors is generally the top 1 to 25% of the class, so you need to have a GPA and SAT to match that. At Rutgers, that means being with the majority 79% who were in the top 10% of their high school class. At Northeastern, that means being in the top 10% of your class like half of the rest of Northeastern. Also, at some schools, the stats that could get you into honors one year could hardly get you accepted 2 years later due to increased competition (this could potentially be true at Northeastern, which went up like 10 spots last year in the U.S. News rankings). …So it’s hard to know.

Your ecs are good for applying to business.

Lehigh doesn’t report their SAT writing scores, which means they probably don’t based their admissions off of them, which is good for you, since Writing is your lowest score. BC requires (and therefore cares about) SAT Subject tests and since you did well on yours, that should help your chances.

Your specific class rank range (I mean, c’mon, pick one percentage!) is sort of a key factor to knowing your chances since your GPA is just average for those schools. As a rule of thumb, rank helps schools figure out if your high school has grade inflation (easy grading) or not.
