Chance me for schools llike NYU, Carnegie Mellon, Fordham, Northeastern, UVA, Bentley, Babsons, Univ. of Chicago, BC, Uconn?

Also, what are the chances if I apply ed to NYU? ed to Cornell?

UConn you’ll definitely get in. Have you been to Storrs though? Not so nice here. Always windy, it’s insanely clique-ish, and STDs EVERYWHERE. Haha I’m very biased though. Anyway back on topic, that’s a definite safety for you.

I’m pretty sure you’re a match for NYU. Don’t know much about the school’s stats, but your resume’s better than most of my friends who got in there.

Can’t say about the others because my knowledge lies in LA colleges. D: Good luck though!

Yeah I’ve been to Uconn (middle of nowhere lol) that’s my safety if I don’t get in anywhere else at all. I won’t go there for business though, but its tuition’s prob the cheapest for me on the list cause I’ll be instate.

The thing I want to know is how do other schools weight GPAs? For example, classes in our school are AP, Lev 1, and lev 2/3. A B in AP bio is weighted to a A- overall. So a 3.0 becomes a 3.67 for us. Are weightings at other schools more or less?

Thanks, do any of you have an opinion on where I should apply ed? I want to do NYU but I might just want to throw an ed app at Cornell to see whether I get in once I see my SAT scores (will only start to consider if they are 2100+). The only thing is, SAT scores come out on the 28th and Ed apps are due the 11/1. Also, are my chances any worse or any better at these schools because I’m applying for business/economics?
