<p>weird. i did ballet for 12 years and stopped a couple of years ago when i had to choose between sports and ballet. phantomgirl did you do ballet or other kinds of dance?! I love all kinds! I really want to learn how to salsa dance haha. </p>
<p>but mostly for free time I spend time with my friends, movies, play sports (running's my favorite), or go to watch sports. I LOVEEE SHOPPING. haha</p>

<p>Marisa, I was a ballet dancer as well, specifically a pointe dancer. Even though it was challenging (and painful when I first started), I loved being on pointe because it is something that not as many dancers are able to do - and it's so elegant! It's funny you mentioned salsa dancing, because I would absolutely love to learn latin style ballroom dancing. My dream is to someday master the tango :)</p>
<p>haha this is so funny! I was in the New England ballet company and I too suffered four years of pointe dancing! haha I say suffered because at the time I had fun but my feet will never forgive me (they are yucky from dance). It would be so fun to meet sometime at orientation or something? are you going to the admitted eagle day this saturday?</p>

<p>I enjoy playing piano and do a lot of artwork. I'm going to be a bio major and will most likely go on to med school. =) !!! can't wait to meet everyone!</p>

<p>I'm not going to Eagle Day this Saturday since I already went to Honors Day in February and I'm sure it will be pretty much the same presentation. I am going to go back up to BC on my own sometime in the next few weeks to look around some more, but we could definitely meet up at orientation if we all planned on going to the same one. I think I remember reading that if you go to an early enough orientation, you can choose a roommate if you have a preference - so hey, who knows, maybe some of us would hit it off right from the start! :)</p>
<p>ooooh, dancers! Haha sorry, I've been searching for other ballet dancers on this board for forver! That's one of the things that concerns me about BC... there doesn't seem to be a ton of ballet, and none of the classes seem to be en pointe. Are any of you still dancing? </p>

I'm not still doing ballet because i'm a three season varsity athlete (I chooose between sports and dance and sports won...haha) anyway, I am always up for doing dance and still love it, so starting a club would be great. When I visited BC the other day I saw a flier posted about free dance classes on one weekend or something like that!</p>
