Boston College vs Tufts

<p>Alright, so I’m stuck between these two colleges, and I have like 4 days to make a decision. I want to double major in civil or mechanical engineering and business. Possibly try to get an MBA right after undergrad</p>

<p>I really like the engineering program at tufts, because I know it is rigorious and whatever… but thats all about tufts that i like about.</p>

<p>oh and that they gave me nice financial aid.</p>

<p>But BC’s great too. And they have a marching band. I really want to be in a marching band, or pep band, or whatever, and tufts doesnt really have any music things.</p>

<p>but the only problem is like i got around 19,000 from BC, including loans, where im getting like 38,000 from tufts. what do i do??</p>

<p>my band director says he knows the band director at BC… do you think i could use that to my advantage to get some more financial aid?</p>

<p>and im not a catholic… is that going to kill me?</p>

<p>BC doesnt have engineering so you should pick tufts lol.</p>

<p>I had to make the same decision and I picked BC. I visited both campuses and I really didn't like Tufts at all. BC seems like its more fun and has more school spirit.</p>

<p>Hopefully they mean economics, or they're going to a college with only 1 of their 2 interests</p>

<p>Do you have a preference for one major over the other? I doubt connections with the band director will get you more fin. aid. What is your gut feeling?</p>
