Be honest - do I have any chance of getting into a 4 year college?!

Ok so I'll try not to freak out while explaining myself.
I live in Massachusetts, I attend a public high school ranked #48th in the state.
I'm a senior, and I am ranked 160 in a class of 305 (class ranks are weighted).
My cumulative gpa is a 2.8, unweighted. My school does not offer weighted gpas.
I realize how awful both these are and that's what concerns me.
I've taken 2 AP classes in high school and 7 honors - all my highest grades on my transcripts coincidentally, are in these classes. it's my lower level classes where I have lower grades ranging from C's to B's.
I'm highly involved in clubs and community service, I have a job, I play sports, I wrote (if I do say so myself) a pretty solid college essay, and I've taken the SAT now twice and my highest score was a 1790 however I am taking it again in October.
I have two teachers who I look up to very much writing my recommendations for me, and I'm confident they'll write me very good ones.
My question is, do I even bother applying...my GPA and class rank is so low...I feel like I have no chance. I do not want to attend community college (nothing against CCs, just my preference). The schools I plan on applying to are Bridgewater State University, Westfield State University, Western New England University, Assumption College, Salve Regina University, and Saint Michael's College. Please be honest. Thank you in advance.

By the way...just to give you a little more information...I plan on applying as a history major to all these schools.

You are definitely 4-year material. I’m glad you’re honest with yourself, because you should shoot for the moon with your applications. There are plenty of schools out there that you would do great at. Just do a little research, check with your guidance counselor.

You’ve taken strenuous classes and your SAT’s are above average. You’ve got good EC’s. You got this.

Yes, you’ll be fine.
