Be Honest- What are my chances

I don’t know much about biochem, but I would look into some of these liberal arts colleges that are known for producing science PhDs. All of them have great history departments and you would get tons of research opportunities and time with profs.
Earlham College (Richmond, Indiana)
St. Olaf College (Northfield, Minnesota)
Rhodes College (Memphis, Tennessee) Rhodes has an atmosphere quite like Vanderbilt, so you might like it.
Grinnell College (Grinnell, Iowa) Grinnell would be a reach, but not an impossible one.
Ohio Wesleyan University (Delaware, Ohio)
Denison University (Granville, Ohio)
Hendrix College (Conway, Arkansas)
…just to name a few.

@Cicero1 what about vassar?

Well, Vassar’s average ACT is about 32 and the average GPA is about a 3.7-3.9, so it would be a reach for you.
Have you considered taking the SAT?

@Cicer1 well vassar super scores and their mid 50% act range is 30-33. Super scored, I have a 31. And yeah- not my forte.
