Well the OP said that they don't want a senior thesis but Brown requires one, so if you can get over that it sounds like a match.

We actually sound very similar in our needs in a college. But some key differences I want to add about Brown are that they don't offer merit aid and they probably won't let you take 1 or 2 courses a semester (especially if you want to go to grad school). But I really think you have a great list of criteria!

Many people at Duke major between the arts and sciences and engineering school. Econ is the most popular major, and recruiting is great.

And to answer your other question to slipper strong econ = strong business program.

Claremont McKenna is a liberal arts school with a focus on business. It's got about 1,500 students, but it's part of the Claremont group of schools--five undergrad schools that share resources, so it's really a community of about 5,000 undergrads.
IT's pretty diverse, too.

Thanks for everyone's help in starting my college list! With a bit more refining and research, I can hopefully start visiting colleges soon, although they're all over the map >.<

Cool Xeneise! I think you just resolved my preference for LACs (smaller, more attention) with their usual lack of a business program :D

Oh and would you mind sharing your college list js416256? (And the senior thesis thing isn't terribly important so Brown seems really good!)

Thanks again! =)

Uchicago has core....
