<p>hi, i attend an out of state college and would like to become a legal resident of my colleges state. it is a private school so it wont effect my tuition, but id like to do it for personal reasons. Im registered to vote, and have voted in my colleges state. how would i go about becoming a legal resident of my colleges state?</p>

<p>It seems like you need to have your main address (and spend most of your time) in Maine, earn income in Maine and you probably need a driver’s license. I know to get a driver’s license in Maryland you need to prove that you live here, which is usually done by showing utility bills under your name.</p>
