Bedding

Okay, so everyone needs sheets and blankets and stuff for next year (duh!). Where are you thinking of getting yours from? I have a double bed so I have to get new stuff. Haha I have already picked out a whole bed-set-deal-thing from PB Teen. What about you guys?

Oh yeah, and does every school use twin-xl sheets?

I’m waiting to see where I get in; if anywhere

You don’t even think its fun to guess?? I’m using my stressed waiting energy to do stuff like this and get viewbooks from really obscure schools with >80% acceptance rates and rolling admissions. According to my parents, its an “issue”. Haha :)

Sounds like a good way to channel energy. I just mope and read and sort of regret applying but not really.

I was going to go to a store…and then buy some…maybe some that I like, idkkkk…

lolz

Northampton or Bed Bath & beyond

I was doing that thing on IBTeen as well! It’s fun, but I wish there was a bit more variety!

I do that too! If I go, I most definitely can’t take the sheets and comforter I’m using now- I’ve had it since I was eight and it’s beyond worn out (not to mention little kid-ish!) But I might take it and stash it in my closet when I get a little homesick. :D

check before you buy. Most schools 9like colleges) you will need the long sheets LOLZbabe mentioned.

If my son is lucky enough to go, we have the quilt that my mother-in-law made for my husband when he went to BS. Apparently, his room was freezing so she made one out of his out-grown blue jeans. It weighs a TON.

lol. this is a really random question. but anyways, i cant decide what bedsheets to get until i get in. IF i get in. but, if the decision letter is positive, i willl surely let you know LOLZbabe.

haha okay. this stress has brought out the random and crazy in me! 25 more days!!!

I can’t believe is already 25 days the time is going by really fast!

Fitted sheets are good!!! For exeter summer school and other camps where I stayed in dorms, they just provided regular sheets. I can’t really tuck in the regular sheets to keep them on, so my sheets ended up in a pile at the end of the bed. Other than that, it’s probably not a big issue.

do any of you guys remember a posting on a thread of my getting banned?

sorry 4 hijacking.

Dorm beds aren’t very comfortable, so be sure to invest in a good quality topper and mattress pad; it will help tremendously.
Below you’ll see a link to the site we ordered from last year. We had it shipped directly to the dorm.

Good luck everyone! Exciting, isn’t it?
