Being an RA

<p>How difficult is it to obtain an RA position? Do a lot of students apply for only a limited number of spots?</p>

<p>A friend of my son’s (both freshman) went through the process and made it to the final 120 and they offer positions to the final 100. I certainly wouldn’t count on it as I think a lot of students apply because of the financial advantages. This link may help:</p>

<p>It might be 100 new positions and 100 return. I think as long as you do well your first year, your RD can recommend you for an RA position again without having to re-do the admissions process.</p>
