Even if the candidate who doesn’t tick a race box is not officially counted as asian in the school’s reported racial stats. The AdComm may still read with an uncontrollable personal bias, the application of an applicant with an obvious asian name. AdComms are only human. And all humans are flawed.
@OHMomof2 I’m pretty sure there are discriminations against Asian applicatants.
It is no longer discrimination. It is now social justice. It is a shame.
