Being contacted by colleges after the PSAT

Too Much Mail!!!!!!! Grrrrr!!!!!!

I love my college mail.

I'm actually considering applying to Macalester because it was such a nice letter.

I'm pretty sure the schools just send based on the GPA you told them you had on the PSAT.

It's nice to find a letter other than that generic thrice-folded letter with your name offset, but c'mon, Carleton College sent me a calender... and I could really care less. It's nice to know they spent a marginal amount of money on me, but I'd rather get a postcard from MIT or CalTech.

Lol got one from both MIT and Caltech. (226 on the PSAT)

Old, I know, but I wrote the wrong e-mail address on my PSATs. off by one letter. I found this out because all the mail I had sent, except for PLAN college mail. Said that email address. I've considered actually opening that e-mail box, but I doubt it is worth it.

I recieved tons of mail though from my 198 sophmore PSAT & my 27 Plan score. So I wonder if they maybe have different number criteria for diff. grades. Because I think the all or the majority of the Ivy's have sent me mail. And schools like Caltech, emory, northwestern, macalester, and more, also got summer opprtunites, and other random programs ......................................................................................................................................................................................
It was only slightly depressing when the flood slowed down to a stream with the coming of summer.

I took my psat. why haven’t i gotten any emails?

My 15 yr. old just got a letter from Xavier congratulating him on his academic achievement. I guess that first semester of HS he just completed (grades haven’t even been posted yet) must have been something.
