Being Deferred

Congrats to those who got accepted!

I got deffered

Does anyone know what BU’s acceptace is for deferred students? I know it’s different for all colleges.

Any comments and thoughts would be appreciated :)

Deferred as well -_-

I got deferred to and BU is my number one so I would like to know this as well

Thanks so much for making this thread! I got deferred as well…

It changes from year to year depending on how many more applications they get for RD and how strong that pool is. The deferred ED applicants I feel have a leg up because BU knows it is their first choice so hang in there. In the meantime, send in any new information you get like any awards or grades you will recieve. And it wouldn’t hurt to visit the school if you haven’t. Wait a couple of months and send an email to admissions letting them know how passionate you are about BU and it is still your first choice. Flood them with information!

Hi guys, i too was deferred. @emmanuelb, i’ve seen your posts throughout BU ED forums and was wondering if you could share why you think you did not get in. Anyone else please feel free to share as well.

I have a feeling it may have fallen to a statistics issue. My grades may not have been high enough. My ECs are well involved and unique and I take pretty challenging classes.
