Beleagured Rose-Hulman's Prez resigns

<p>"TERRE HAUTE, Indiana (AP) -- The president of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, sharply criticized by faculty, students and staff for a brusque management style, has resigned after less than a year, the college announced.</p>

<p>President Jack Midgley resigned Saturday as the board of trustees met in Indianapolis to consider his future at the 1,700-student private college of engineering, science and mathematics.</p>
