hey is your screename a reference to the cool kids rap group?

African-American Male will significantly help your chances for admission at all of these schools. I think that you are likely to be admitted to Virginia, Wm. & Mary, GWU, Va. Tech, JMU, George Mason & Virginia Commonwealth.
The Univ. of Chicago is an academically demanding school equal to Princeton, Swarthmore & the other genius schools. Teacher recs are very important to the admissions folks at Chicago. The concern is your SAT I CR score & whether you can handle the demands of Chicago's curriculum. I think that you have a good chance of being admitted to Chicago, and, if so, then why do you want to attend Chicago? I do not doubt that you can handle the work at Chicago, but at what cost? You have a high math aptitude, but a CR below 600 at Chicago is asking for trouble, in my opinion.

yea i also listen to the cool kids lol

bump!!!!!!

bump!!!!!!

any other opinions please

please anyone?

uchiago - high reach

George Washington - low reach
Virginia Tech - low reach/high match
James Madison University - low reach/high match
George Mason University - high match
Virginia Commonwealth University - high match

chance me back!

I would say U of Chicago, UVA, and W&M are all high reaches, VCU is safety, and I think you have a reasonable chance at the other four but really what does my opinion matter? I'm not at admissions officer.

I think you have a good chance at all your schools you may think that your GPA is low, but since you've taken a bunch of APs that makes up for it. If it helps my friend just got into GW with bit of a higher GPA and SAT than yours with no APs and less ECs he's not a URM either. The only ones i think will be difficult are UVA and Chicago

Chance me back please <a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/620059-chance-average-student.html%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/620059-chance-average-student.html</a></p>

your in state so uva is definately NOT way out of reach
you have a chance there
good luck!
