<p>Sort of but not entirely. There is generally a higher acceptance rate for EA, but the EA applicants are more competitive than the RD, so your individual chance of getting in are going to be the same in either pool.</p>
<p>As for aid, they have an allotted amount of aid to give out to EA applicants and an allotted amount to give to the RD applicants. Again, EA won’t really change the amount of aid you receive.</p>
<p>HOWEVER, EA is definitely a good idea for everyone. It allows you to finish the process of applying and reduces the stress load by a lot to apply in November rather than January.</p>
