I'm currently applying to Skidmore, Bennington, Hobart & William Smith, and Wells colleges, and I'm hoping for some opinions...particularly on Bennington (my first choice).

I'm currently attending PBCC (Palm Beach Community College), have a 3.43 GPA, and have just been invited to join my local chapter of PTK. My last two semesters went particularly well, as I earned a 3.5 in spring, and 4.0 in fall.
I took the SAT only once in HS, and scored 1140 (M570, V570). My HS record is spotty (I went to a 'special' school), and I have a GED.
I recently retook my SATs, scoring M570, V620 the first time, and M530, V660 the second time. I have no extracurricular activities to claim, but my writing skills are good and I should have very good recommendations. I haven't taken any honors classes because I earned poor marks my first two semesters.

I'm not sure how my recent SAT scores are considered compared to my older ones, and I'm worried about weaknesses in math and science on my transcript. I would appreciate any opinions on my admission chances at these four schools.
