Bentley or Villanova for finance major

Hey guys, I got acceptance from both schools for business undergraduate study and I plan to take finance as my major. I really have no idea how to choose between these two schools. As for the city, I prefer Boston than Philly, however I love the size of Villanova. These two schools both have good placement but I heard that Villanova has a more powerful connection with the alumni. However, I am not a huge sports fan so I am worried about not fitting into Villanova. Another important reason I am considering is that I am an international student, but I find diversity in Villanova is not as much as in Bentley. Any opinions? Thanks very much!

Two fine choices. The schools have some notable differences so I’d go with your personal preference. Some differences I see offhand are:
–Size and location as you have noted
–Religious v secular Do you want religion on campus? Do you not care?
–Primarily a business school v a more all around school. This will impact the variety of interests found in the overall student body. And you should consider if you are 100% sure that you want to study business as an undergraduate.
– Villanova has a large liberal arts core curriculum which includes classes in philosphy, theology and more. I don’t know for sure but I’d imagine the liberal arts core will be more rigorous at Villanova as compared to Bentley. You can google both and compare.

Also
–consider if one school is more well known in your home country, especially if you plan on returning one day.
–You can probably find the % and # of international students at each school.

Hey! Thanks for your suggestion! I deposited Villanova because I had a feeling of home! Thanks again for your good advice!

Congratulations. Have a great 4 years there.
